Top vocalist Trijntje Oosterhuis gave on August 30, 2011 a smashing concert on the Octagonplein of the Avila Beach Hotel as part of the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival 2011.
Oosterhuis (born 1973) belongs to one of the top vocalist of the Netherlands for years now.
In her solo carrier -after the successful pop group Total Touch- she sang along with Queen, Andrea Borcelli, Burt Bacharach, Solomon Burke, Jean ' Toots ' Thielemans, Marco Borsato and Lionel Richie.

And Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival with Stevie Wonder, I can’t and of course don’t want to miss! "
The second edition of the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival took place on 2 and 3 september 2011. During the two festival days there entered a wide range of international artists including Earth Wind & Fire, Juan Luis Guerra, Sting and Stevie Wonder. In the week leading up to the festival there were various special concert programs.
Trijntje, along with her fantastic band, made a musical journey through her entire career during her concert, with all its biggest hits. Of Total Touch, her Burt Bacharach-repertoire, Dutch hits, but also, for example, songs from her album ' Sundays in New York '. A very special combination of jazz, soul, funk & pop!
The program during this evening was in the hands of pianist Gino Coelho, who along with trumpet player Igort Rivas (formerly Buena Vista Social Club) made an impressive atmosphere. The small-scale and warm feeling of the idyllic Octagon square of the Avila Hotel created a fantastic combination
